Hyperbaric Oxygen TherapyLocated just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, The Hope For Healing Institute offers the same medical grade treatment as hospital based units, but at a fraction of the cost. HBOT is covered by most insurance carriers, too. Find this longtime OPEN EXCHANGE lister under Health & Healing.
You can go weeks without food and days without water, but you will die within minutes without precious oxygen. Often your body lacks an adequate amount of healing oxygen when you are sick or injured. If you are deficient in oxygen, you are likely lacking the energy required to heal. HBOT helps reverse this by saturating your tissues, cells and plasma with 100% oxygen in a method that is safe, drug-free and relaxing. In short, HBOT can help to boost your healing response and inhibit bacterial infections; reduce inflammation and swelling; stimulate new blood vessel growth; increase collagen production; and improve auto-immune response. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is PROVEN effective in creating a healing response for numerous injuries and illnesses such as:
I was skating through the offensive zone and was cutting back towards the crease (net) when a friend of mine collided with me. The top of my friend's helmet hit me in the cage of my helmet and knocked me unconscious. When I woke up, I was on my back, and had no idea how long I had been out, though I was told I was unconscious for about 20 seconds. I do not remember much after that. Although I rested a lot when I got home, I had dizziness, a headache and an earache as well. I made it to Advanced Hyperbaric Recovery the next day and got started with treatments right away. Within just a few days I noticed my symptoms start to disappear slowly. I felt much better and was able to return to playing in no time. Most insurance companies do pay for HBOT for these and many other medical conditions, because we are a medical grade HBOT facility, and we follow the same regulatory hospital standards of care. We help you get approval for your therapy, and do all of the billing usually our patients pay nothing out of pocket.
